USD 273 give thanks to staff and students
Beloit Elementary School Principal Brady Dean and Jr. Sr. High School Principal Casey Seyfert reported during Monday night's Unified School District (USD #273) meeting, that the logistics of operating their schools in a safe and responsible fashion has went well so far. Both thanked the students and teachers for following all the guidelines very closely so that schools could continue to function as close to normal as possible. Both admitted there were many unknowns to the Covid-19 virus, but at this point things are going well.
– Superintendent Jeff Travis reviewed a list of newly hired staff members for the 2020-21 school year. Travis gave the board an update on the progress on the HVAC installation at the North Campus. He also reviewed the district office property procedure with the board.
– Reports were given by Student Council and Site Council representatives.
– Janet Porter and Brady Dean gave updates to the board on events at the elementary school, and praised the students and the staff for their close adherence to the Covid-19 guidelines.

2019 Beloit Jr. High School – 112
2020 enrollment – 101
2019 High School – 232
2020 enrollment – 215
