BELOIT – The Beloit Ministerial Association announced this week that cash assistance for rent and utilities or other emergencies will be temporarily suspended until cash reserves are replenished.
WICHITA – The Beloit High School JAG-K (Jobs for America’ s Graduates - Kansas) officers attended the annual Leadership Development Conference held at Wichita State University on Oct. 11, 2023. Alyssa Hajny, President and Region 1 officer, Tamma Lawson, VP Community Service, Maddie Black, VP Social Activities, and Allison Leiva, Secretary, were hand selected, along with other JAG-K officers around the state to attend this event. There, they got to network with other students leaders and get educated on how to be a leader, along with bringing back important information to their our program at Beloit High School.
BELOIT – Acting City Administrator Mandi Lomax reported during Wednesday’ s Beloit City Council meeting that there was nothing to report on the progress of he Water Treatment Plant/Water Line project. She also told the Council that the Solar Farm had another good month of electricity generation.
BELOIT — High school seniors in North Central Kansas are invited to compete for a chance to win $1,000 by submitting an essay or short video in the 2023-2024 Rural Voices Youth Contest.
