BELOIT – Achievement awards recognize 4-H members as they reach milestones throughout their 4-H journey. 4-H members engage in project learning, leadership experiences, community service, career exploration, competitive contests, and life skill building activities. Youth are encouraged to set new and more challenging goals each year.
BELOIT – The Beloit Ministerial Association announced this week that cash assistance for rent and utilities or other emergencies will be temporarily suspended until cash reserves are replenished.
WICHITA – The Beloit High School JAG-K (Jobs for America’ s Graduates - Kansas) officers attended the annual Leadership Development Conference held at Wichita State University on Oct. 11, 2023. Alyssa Hajny, President and Region 1 officer, Tamma Lawson, VP Community Service, Maddie Black, VP Social Activities, and Allison Leiva, Secretary, were hand selected, along with other JAG-K officers around the state to attend this event. There, they got to network with other students leaders and get educated on how to be a leader, along with bringing back important information to their our program at Beloit High School.
