DOWNS - Graveside memorial services for James “Jim” Schlaefli, age 78 of Downs, will be at 10 AM Saturday, April 8 at the Prairie Grove Cemetery in Cawker City. Mr. Schlaefli died March 20. Survivors include his wife Roberta of the home; son, Shannon (Jeri) of Cawker City; daughter, Robin Schlaefli-Winkel (Brett) of Downs; 3 grandchildren; & brother, Larry (Pauline) of Hays. Cremation has taken place & there will be no visitation. Friends are invited to join the family for lunch following services at the Downs United Methodist Church.
