Beloit Trojans baseball add five straight wins

BELOIT – The Beloit High School Trojan baseball team were host to their first home games on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, and won their first double header of the season over the Minneapolis Lions with both games ending in three innings; Game 1 – 18-3 and Game 2 – 22-7. Beloit faced Sylvan/Lucas on Thursday and won the doubleheader; Game 1 – 11-1 and Game 2 – 13-6, for five straight wins including one over Ellsworth going into their next scheduled home game at 5-3 on the season to face Clay Center on Tuesday, April 11.

Wiles competes in Thunderbird All-Star games

CONCORDIA – St. John’s Catholic High School senior, Ella Wiles, competed in both the Thunderbird All-Star Invitational basketball and volleyball competition recently with 20 of the best high school players from the area. Wiles’ Black team basketball squad fell short to the Gold team 88-56.

Beloit Trojans split the win with Ellsworth

ELLSWORTH – The Beloit Trojan baseball team traveled to Ellsworth on Friday, March 31, and split the wins in the doubleheader for an 1-3 season. They will now host Minneapolis on Tuesday, April 4, in Beloit.
