Beloit Lion’ s Club name changes to Odyssey

BELOIT – The Beloit Lion’ s Club was chartered in 1938 and has been a local service organization for 85 years. After lengthy and sincere deliberation the members of Beloit Lion’ s Club have voted to drop their charter and affiliation with the National and State Lion’ s organizations. Their new official name will be Beloit Odyssey, Inc. but will simply be called Odyssey. After discussing several different names, they decided on Odyssey, which means “ a long journey full of adventures,” which seems appropriate as they embark on this new direction for their service club. And the “ 24” was added to signify the starting year of this new club.

MCHHS offers expanded pain management services

BELOIT – Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems (MCHHS) offers pain management services to treat and relieve symptoms of numerous pain diagnoses. These procedures include epidural steroid injections, small and large joint injections, radiofrequency ablations, and more. New advanced radiology interventions performed now include CT Myelograms and MRI Arthrograms to help evaluate and treat patients struggling with chronic pain. These procedures are recommended by healthcare providers as a last step to reveal issues not detected by a conventional CT scan or MRI and are completed under the direct care of Dr. Scott Kaul, DNAP, CRNA, NSPM-C and our professional radiology staff.
