OSBORNE COUNTY– The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) and the Osborne County Sheriff’ s Office again ask for the public’ s assistance as they investigate the murder of 48-year-old Calvin Beams of Downs.
Superintendent of Public Works, Marty Hernandez, was present during Monday’ s Mitchell County Commissioners meeting, on a matter of identity clarification, stating that in last week’ s newspaper a person with the same name as his from Laredo, Texas was arrested by Beloit Police Department officers for a number of violations. He was present to assure the commissioners the person arrested was not he.
