SUPERIOR, NEB. – The January meeting of the Desire Tobey Sears Chapter, NSDAR was called to order by Regent Becky Craig, Munden Monday evening Jan. 17, 2022, at the Superior Public Library, in Superior, Nebraska. Haley Popelka, Belleville, led the 11 members in the Pledge of Allegiance. Sherry Koster of Jewell led the members in reciting the American’ s Creed.
BELOIT – While some businesses no longer observe Martin Luther King Jr. day as a non-working holiday, North Central Kansas Technical College employees decided to take a different approach to honoring the late MLK Jr.
Lee McMillan reported during Wednesday’ s Beloit City Council that he had heard that 5G rollout had caused problems in Ellsworth. He said he heard that some Ellsworth businesses had experienced significant difficulties.
The first order of business during Tuesday’ s Mitchell County Commissioners meeting involved Stewart Porter, County Engineer, and the viewing of the bids for the new County Shop Building. This project has been in the works for several years and was finally becoming a reality.
