Solomon Valley Bank donates $1,820 to local food bank

“ Each year, bank employees choose a local organization to donate to. Throughout the year, they personally contribute to the community contribution fund. Solomon Valley Bank, a branch of First National Bank and Trust then matches these contributions. For 2021, the branch is very excited to donate $1,820.00 to the Food Pantry. ‘Risk Management Skills for Women in Ag’ workshops

BELOIT – There is still time to register for the in-person, KSU “ Risk Management Skills for Women in Ag” Workshop series scheduled in January/February 2022. The sessions, all on Wednesdays, are scheduled on January 12, January 19, January 26 and February 2, with an optional session on February 23, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will be held in Beloit, at the First Bank and in Smith Center at the courthouse basement meeting room. The sessions will feature a combination of ONLINE keynote speakers as well as local speakers.

New Year’ s baby arrives at MCHHS

BELOIT – The 2022 New Year’ s Baby made his arrival Jan. 4 at Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems (MCHHS). Alexander Corrick was delivered by Dr. Christine Marozas on Tuesday afternoon at 1:11p.m. and weighed 8 lbs. 8 ounces and was 22 inches long. Alexander arrived into the world representing the New Year’ s rebirth and received a few gifts of his own.
