HUTCHINSON – For the 10th time in the last 13 years, St. John's Catholic High School finished its scholars' bowl season competing at the state meet. This year, the Blujay scholars traveled south to Central Christian High School in Hutchinson, Ks.
MINNEAPOLIS – The Junior High Beloit wrestlers competed in the Minneapolis tournament on Feb. 13, 2023, to place in top scoring. They will now hosts Smith Center,/Hill City/SES/Osborne in Beloit on Monday, Feb. 20 with a 4 p.m start.
BELOIT – The Beloit Trojans defeated the Sacred Heart Knights, 58-38, Tuesday night, to clinch second place in the NCAA. With the win, Beloit improves to 13-5 overall and 7-2 in the league. The Trojans are scheduled to travel to Minneapolis on Friday, February 17. The Lions are 216 overall and 1-8 in the league.
The Beloit Lady Trojans lost to the Sacred Heart Knights, 49-39, Tuesday night, to add another competitive loss to their record.
The St. John’ s/Tipton boys headed to Chase to take on the Kats on homecoming night in Chase Friday night. The Blujays entered the game winners of their last four games and an overall record of 12-5.
