Lady Jays easily win over Chase Kats

St. John’ s/Tipton ladies traveled to Chase High School Friday to challenge the 2-14 Cats in a NPL matchup. Marking the first time they faced each other this season the Lady Jays would be able to use this game to work on specific plays and schemes. This game would also provide needed playing minutes for bench players as the team moves closer to the end of the season. They were able to completely shut down their offense as they routed they herded the Cats by a final score of 69-18.

Beloit Trojans claw past Ellsworth Bearcats

The Beloit Trojans defeated the Ellsworth Bearcats, 59-47, Thursday night, to secure their hold on second place in the NCAA. With the win, Beloit improves to 12-5 overall and 62 in the league. On Tuesday, February 14, the Trojans will host Sacred Heart. The Knights were 9-7 overall and 3-4 in the NCAA before their game against Council Grove on Friday.

Ellsworth girls outlast Beloit Lady Trojans

The Beloit Lady Trojans lost to the Ellsworth Lady Bearcats, 47-39, Thursday, in a game rescheduled from last Friday. With the loss, Beloit falls to 4-13 overall and 2-6 in the NCAA. On Tuesday, February 14, the Lady Trojans will host Sacred Heart at 6 p.m. The Lady Knights were 7-9 overall and 3-4 in the league before facing Council Grove on Friday.

Lady Jays repeat a win over Lakeside

The Lady Jays hosted NPL rival Lakeside in Beloit Tuesday in a NPL Tournament finals rematch where St. John’ s/ Tipton defeated the Knights 61-30 as the Lady Jays nearly relived the same game defeating the Knights 63-40.

St. John’ s/Tipton boys win close over Knights

The St. John’ s/Tipton Blujays hosted the Lakeside Knights on Tuesday night in Beloit in a Northern Plains League contest. The Blujays came into the game with an 115 record. The Knights entered the contest with an 8-8 record.
