Plum Creek Restaurant will be celebrating 20 years on Saturday, June 25, 2022, with a “ Party on the Bricks” event. It is very important for the couple to involve the local and surrounding communities in their celebration as they express, “ That is who has enabled our businesses to grow” .
Amanda Johnson, representing the Soil Conservation department during Monday mornings Mitchell County Commissioners meeting, and presented their proposed 2023 budget for the commissioner’ s consideration. She commented that the proposed budget was a status quo budget with no major increases in spending. The commissioners thanked Johnson for the insightful work done to preserve our natural resources.
GLASCO – Members of the Kansas-Nebraska Radio Club (KNRC) will be participating in the National Amateur Radio Field Day exercise on June 25-26, at VFW Post 7697, 601 N Railroad Ave, Glasco.
The Solomon Valley Economic Development (SVED) committee held their monthly meeting on June 16 in the Conference Room at the North Central Kansas Regional Planning Commission headquarters. Twelve members were in attendance. President Curt Frazier called the meeting to order promptly at 12:30 p.m.
