Mitchell County Riders dedication

A life long supporter of horse events in Beloit through clubs, county fairs, and numerous activities, was recognized on Sunday with a sign dedicated over the Mitchell County Fairgrounds horse arena. Jane Wallace and horse Blondie received the honor through the Mitchell County Riders in Beloit. The sign was made by Amanda Solt. See more in upcoming editions of the Beloit Call. CCCC to receive $4 million in state funding

CONCORDIA – Cloud County Community College (CCCC) has received notification from the State of Kansas that it will receive $4 million in Federal American Rescue Plan Act Appropriations, pending approval by the State Finance Council, for construction of its Technical Education and Innovation Center. The funding was included in the state budget, which Gov. Laura Kelly signed Wednesday.

BELOIT – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Fire Weather Watch with a Critical Fire Danger for Tuesday in Phillips, Smith, Jewell, Rooks, Osborne and Mitchell counties and portions of south central Nebraska.

Bingesser named Northwestern volleyball head coach

ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State has y announced the hiring of Jon Bingesser to take over the Lady Ranger volleyball program. Bingesser will take over at Northwestern after Fred Aubuchon announced his retirement in March.
