Mother Nature reminded us of who is in charge on Tuesday morning after gracing the area with 2-5 inches of snow. April showers bring May flowers, but April snow, I don’t know! While most had to do a double take of their morning scene, it did provide a nice wet cover and made for a beautiful Winter Wonderland viewing. Above right: A bird house takes on a different look and above left: on Wednesday morning a freeze covered mail box started off the morning with chilly temperatures in the 20’s. Today (Wednesday) it will warm up to a near 50 degrees but with wind gusts as high a 20 mph, before another chance of snow is forecast for Thursday morning and a chance of rain after 10 a.m. and another 50 degrees in the afternoon. Another 20 percent chance of rain is forecast for Friday with a high near 60 degrees before a sunny weekend is to appear with temperatures of near 64 degrees on Saturday and a high near 78 degrees on Sunday. After a forecast of 85 degrees on Monday, a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms returns for Tuesday with a high near 76 degrees. Sharon Sahlfeld photos
