Regional Champion Beloit Senior Brennan Walker: 195 weight division
BELOIT – The Beloit Lady Trojans lost to the Minneapolis Lady Lions, 45-41, Friday night to fall to 9-10 overall and 6-4 in the NCAA. Beloit is scheduled to travel to Smith Center to face the Lady Red at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, to conclude the regular season. Smith Center, the sixthranked team in Class 2A, is 15-4.
Wyatt Broeckelman’s 38 points spark Beloit's win
HILLSBORO – Beloit competed in Regionals this past weekend in Hillsboro and qualified two Regional Champions in seniors Brennan Walker in the 195 weight division and Braden Burks in the 220 division. Senior Tate Kadel qualified as a Regional Runner-Up in the 170 division. Wrestling as a Beloit Trojan and now as a Rock Hills Grizzly, Coe Neilson, earned a third place at Regionals to advance to the State competition in Hays this coming weekend Feb. 25-26.
